mindpalette – retrospection
mindpalette wondered why it is so exited
It searched for the exact reasons for its overwhelmed excitement. It tried looking towards - it ’self’.
In between the different shades, it found a strange shade of mind.
A neatly suppressed, strange shade…….
mindpalette realised that it was suppressing its desires in order to comply its projected image in the university.
The more it suppressed, it became more pervert and highly complicated.
It was working with young, beautiful girls.
It suppressed all its desires by repeatedly telling to its self that it was a teacher.
mindpalette always acted different to create and pamper an image for itself.
It created the false self image right from its childhood.
mindpalette used to stand in front of the mirror,
and saw a creepy thin reflection which made itself wondering how it is going to compete at the race called life.
The reflection,
and the inability to satisfy the social and family expectations forced it to create an illusionary projected image of its own.
So that it’s negatives can be neatly concealed under the carpet.
Its family situations always urged and kept itself reminding about self sufficiency
(That it should stand on its leg and take care of itself).
mindpalette was in a dilemma
It should fight back to survive,
while suppressing all its shortcomings.
mindpalette decided to attain the strength to fight back.
Somehow the decision to be tough evolved out.
It realized that it should overcome the urge for care and sympathy from others as the first step to evolve as a ‘tough mindpalette’.
It was the beginning of a new fascinating concept that spread the basic shade of ………mind palette
The basic mold that created mindpalette ……………
One reason for the excitement was the urge to disown its projected image, breakfree and fly to a new dream world…..

mindpalette-turning points
mindpalette’s life was going through a phase of changes and smoothness.
It showed unexceptional courage in intialising activities and experimenting life.
The experiments gave it more courage to explore unknown boundaries and urge for the limits.
During this smooth flow of journey, came an e-mail which became a turning point in its life.
mindpalette never realized that it was the beginning of new experiences in its journey called ‘life’.
It was from an old classmate.
mindpalette had some nice memories associated with her while in the big city.
But projected ego and image at the city life never allowed it to open its mind.
Later, when it decided to run away from the city it left all bonds and memories back and never tried to refresh any of those haunting memories.
mindpalette felt overwhelming excitement. It was highly optimistic with the feel good fragrance all around and its confidence levels were very high.
It came to the conclusion that life is giving a new chance that it missed once.
mindpalette entertained the new developments and enjoyed blooming excitement and happiness.
She was working abroad and she managed to get a job offer for mindpalette with her.
There was a prominent change in the shades of mind.

mindpalette used to join parties of its friends who used to come on annual leave from abroad (the only source for free scotch whiskey especially johnywalker).

It decided to leave its university job and follow its dream.

mindpalette – transformation
mindpalette – transformation
It was the first rain showering down the dry lands after decades of drought. mindpalette transmitted the fragrance of dry earth.
The fragrance spread the pleasant feel good factor in all its activities.
mindpalette realized the beginning of a spring season.
It experienced happiness and comfort with scintillating youth energy. The university job gave many openings for activities, debates and travel.
It started learning the subjects which it was supposed to study during its college days as it doesn’t want to look like a fool in front of its students.
It was a new world. There was no egoistic “I’m-always–right” and “do-as-I–say” attitudes. A learning experience where mindpalette got chance to look towards itself realizing, how narrow minded its thoughts were at times.
mindpalette found itself as a small kid gazing the ocean at the shore. It searched for new insights and thoughts of the world.
mindpalette experienced a strange change in the environment which it is living. The world suddenly started sharing the charm and fragrance.
It taught the importance of the smile. It smiled and the whole world smiled back.
It got involved in activities and the world kept the ambience pleasant and vibrant.
mindpalette got fully involved with the world and the world found it safe to share its grieves.
It somehow emerged as an anti depressant for most of them.
mindpalette realized that it wasted a lot of time trying to view world with a black wall of pretence in between which he it never tried to look beyond.

Freedom mindpalette- III
(“Freedom” concept fully inspired, adapted from the first chapter of Paulo Coelho’s ‘The Zahir’)
mindpalette restarted its journey. It showed no intention to take up any responsibilities.
mindpalette is careless and hates responsibilities unless and until it is unavoidable.
Without any dream to fulfill and ends to meet, it tried to disown all dependences.
Mindpalette started believing that it was not fit for the social setup.
It couldn’t find any reason to live….
Started wandering from one place to another mainly traveling from one festive spot to another (without getting bothered for which god it’s been organized). It got immense pleasure from the crowd, the elephants, the performing arts, the drums, the music, the dance ……
It once again fell in love with life. It started paying interest to the simple joys of life and a lot of reasons to live…..
It took mindpalette to financial crisis with few to hear its distress messages. mindpalette’s self respect didn’t allow it to be a parasite.
Mindpalette searched for a new beginning and the universe conspired for it. It got a new job offer as guest lecturer in a university.
mindpalette was happy with the offer. It was one of his dream-come-true, to be back in college as it cherished its good times at college.
It decided to make the most out of the work and continued with its wandering face utilizing most of its spare time traveling.
mindpalette justify this phase as...
Making a decision was only the beginning of things. When someone makes a decision, he is really diving into a strong current that will carry him to places he had never dreamed of when he first made the decision (Courtesy: Paulo Coelho).
AND
Freedom is not the absence of commitments but the ability to choose and commit myself to-what is best for me (Courtesy: Paulo Coelho).

Freedom mindpalette- II
(“Freedom” concept fully inspired, adapted from the first chapter of Paulo Coelho’s ‘The Zahir’)
mindpalette got confused.
It started roaming around unfocused facing life without any predetermined plans. Still it struggled with the burden of financial and social dependency.
mindpalette thought of defining freedom. It always fights with the tip of an iceberg. Every other minute dependency creates new dungeons and drive mindpalette to new terrains and corridors of freedom struggle.
Freedom was still a mirage.
mindpalette evolved out as maverick and footloose.
It decided to take the less traveled path.
It took years, even after attaining financial freedom to get the confidence to break the bounds of social uncertainty and expectations.
It was under immense pressure from the social set up to take the common roads ,where onlookers policing the norms of social living (as if they are the godfathers of the whole Homo sapiens community).
These strangers rule most of the individual’s life. It stops listening to what heart says fearing these unknown strangers, making life miserable.
mindpalette’s first prominent insurrection came one evening when it was high on spirits. The radical resurrected under the influence.
It decided to quit its first job, which it got through campus recruitment from the prestigious college it post graduated.
mindpalette had a nice time during its graduation where its individuality experienced freedom. The free atmosphere nurtured the decision making instincts. It also boosted the analytical instincts. (Most of the batch mates share the same opinion)
Post graduation experience at the prestigious college made mindpalette travel back in time. Though it learned so much of crookedness and confidence to tackle people professionally, it couldn’t digest the egoistic professional approach projected to develop more number of ‘management slaves’.
mindpalette felt the management theories and the professional approaches as a breeding station of hatred and inhumanity. It taught absolute dependence and slavery with no loopholes to escape to the vast world of freedom and independence. Its thoughts and ideas gifted the title of “unprofessional third rate behaved” individual of the batch.
It disowned the tag and ego of a dependent management professional, as it escaped from the big city.
More over it decided to shed the nasty black hole feeling that reappeared in the monotonous professional life at the tour operations company.
Uncertainty spreads its wings.
But mindpalette was confident to face the consequences.
mindpalette started its wandering phase while enjoying the new freedom ……
hoping for the best……

mindpalette feels ‘dependence’ every moment and fights for freedom.
The freedom struggle opinionated with strong convictions and fighting for what it believes.
It fought with various complexes during its childhood days.
Later against the conservative social set up, inspiring ideas from equality brotherhood and socialism.
mindpalette got involved in religion and evolved out as an agnostic, after fierce fights.
Don’t know where it got the ideology that ‘Silence is Surrendering’. Might be from the suppressed radical ‘id’ (courtesy: Sigmund Freud)
It fought for identity.
It was the dangerous turning point when beautiful but fatuous dreams caught fire engulfing everything. Every hurdle looked so easy to overcome with the enormous power of fantasy and youth .
Even the whole world conspired for it (courtesy: Paulo Coelho).
Those days didn’t last long.
Distorted vision and unfocused moves ceased mindpalette in a soup.
These freedom fights gave mindpalette the strength and inspiration, to face any critical situation with an exceptional sportsman spirit and strive forward unemotionally.
Fortunately or unfortunately mindpalette got sidelined and the long lost complexes resurfaced, which took mindpalette to new black holes of slavery and dependence.
It never bothered to fight against them. Actually mindpalette was enjoying the painful stretch of loneliness and depression.
It got the support from spirit and nicotine. …………………

Happy mindpalette
mindpalette loves to be happy.
Spreads the aura of happiness and cheer that even its enemies love to cherish
(Truth: mindpalette fears to be alone. don’t mind whether friend or foe)
It hates loneliness because mindpalette is a perfectionist, it urges to cross and explore the limits. Always unsatisfied as it finds further space for improvement. Accepting constructive criticism. (mindpalette thinks wired and comes to conclusions, but optimistic most of the time)
mindpalette detaches itself from the society when lonely and flies beyond every limits. It avoids everyone in a worst way and shrinks to its loneliness. It enjoys the strange pain of loneliness. But retrieves to stability at the slight spark of opportunity with full throttle involvement, as if nothing has happened.
mindpalette keeps atmosphere happy, memorable and lively with dramaticism, surprises, unexpected eccentricity, activities, self criticism, enthusiasm, unprejudiced verdicts and generosity
mindpalette is a great listener.
It won’t believe in sympathy. It shows calmness in danger and difficulty of others and happily helps them to overcome, evolving as a tough hero.
It loves the tough image so much that it suppresses its weaknesses under the carpet.
mindpalette abstains itself from bounds and proclaims self independence . It shows unpredictable caring and help,(going out of the way to any extend)when needed ,with little emotional involvement……

Agnostic
mindpalette- the agnostic
mindpalette is an eccentric traveler of thoughts.
It travels through the intricacies to find justifications, confrontations and arguments .
It always does what it feels right at the moment and stands for it, enjoying the rights and wrongs of its deed.
Ready to face the unforeseen consequences and collateral damages. Ready to accept that sometimes mindpalette goes wrong with the justification “circumstances forced me to do that” (courtesy. my old classmate). It is responsible for its actions as change is the only thing that’s permanent in the evolution.
All rights are not always right.
Time is a the greatest healer.
No wonder I forgot my long lost girlfriends who gave me solid torture when they left me(most of them dont even realised that I really loved them blaming me unromantic and apathetic, some I don’t hav the courage to tell)
mindpalette is not sure whether ‘god’ (as projected by various religious sects) is there or not. mindpalette likes to believe that there is a powerful entity that controls the universe. Faith supports you when you are helpless .
mindpalette always pretend and present itself as sang-froid.
(Truth: It’s so egoistic to concede to any other soul. Knitting secret plans to avoid direct confrontations with possible super egos in its way).
It’s the group dynamics and the concentration that does wonders while in religious sects.
mindpalette’s god is a broadminded omnipresent entity. he is so broadminded down to earth and friendly that he never even asks to reserve one specific day to praise him.
He is right with you. As your friend, parent, enemy, sister, girlfriend, teacher, driver, drunkard, shopkeeper, soldier, prostitute, social worker, politician, layman, or even as your dog.
So mindpalette is always for non violence.
Wondering how bin laden can murder gods in the twin tower and bush can murder the gods in Afghan and Iraq.
Now mindpalette is in trouble. (mindpalette is a non vegetarian…..!)
Think about the hens, the cows, the sheeps, the birds, and the fishes that mindpalette kills and the moron even eats the dead bodies of the gods…
bin laden and bush never ate the dead bodies of the gods they murdered ……
oh my GOD mindpalette is in trouble.
Sorry …. that’s a spontaneous out flow of the post colonial tail of inferiority complex and colour fascination .hhmmmmmmmm.
In simple words mindpalette was trying to imitate Hollywood heroes, more precisely James Bond oh oh seven
That’s all.
Wow …. mindpalette is calling god for help (clear that mindpalette is helpless).
Let’s see which god comes for its help.

Phantasm - An illusory image
Change –The only thing that’s permanent in life.
I’m pursuing the everyday transitional stages of my so called social life. I’d rather say the evolutionary stages of my life cycle.
What the hell on earth??, (Courtesy: my old roommate, whose first reaction while getting irritated. Hmmm... Just wondering, where the hell on earth is he now in his evolutionary life cycle) am I trying to say….
Nothing. “Change” That’s the first word that came out ,while trying to get a self portrait or image of the mindpalette.
Its so fickle with different shades.
Still I should start off.

Who shares the traditional Aquarian traits of"Friendly, humanitarian, Honest, loyal, Original, inventive, Independent, intellectual and out of the world........... Refusing to follow the crowd".............WHO LIKES "Fighting for Causes, Dreaming and Planning for the Future, Thinking of the Past,Good Companions, Having Fun ".........AND DISLIKES "Full of Air Promises, Excessive Loneliness, The Ordinary, The Imitations and The Idealistic world"
